I wish I had more men to critique, but the men's fashion this year was a snooze fest. So anybaloney, I'm putting this one out there for discussion: Jessica Chastain's gown. Love it or hate it? She is making the best-dressed AND the worst-dressed lists all over the place. I personally love it, and I dislike gold. In her defense, I don't think this could've been anything but an Oscar dress. But an Oscar dress it was. Also, two words:
Alexander McQueen.
I LOVED this dress. She was stunning. This is a dress that I would want to wear to the Oscars. (But honestly, if I ever got nominated for an Oscar, I would probably be stripped naked and doing cartwheels down the red carpet.)

It was exciting with a vintage feel, whereas Natalie Portman (in an actual vintage gown) looked like a snooze, I thought. Pretty dress but she didn't add any pizzazz to it.
