Of course we all know that there's a certain widespread fascination with nuns and sex. The Madonna/ whore complex, the forbidden hidden under the holy. I don't know if I quite get it, but I love this photo. I think I'm more intrigued by other people's fascination with the whole concept of religious iconography and sex. I don't find it sexy, because I grew up Baptist, and there's nothing sexy about that, dear. Nothing. But I suppose I get the forbidden lust aspect.
It reminds me of the new season of American Horror Story. Are you watching that? I'm simply obsessed. It toys with this taboo quite a bit.
